It appears my wife's Volvo's thermostat is in need of replacement. Stuck open and not heating up very fast as we go into winter. It looks like it is probably on the left side of the motor under intake, etc. Any tips on replacement before I start tearing it apart?

 

I'm having trouble replacing the thermostat on my 04 xc90 I got the top torxbit out but can't reach the bottom one please someone help

 

Ratcheting torx bit on a 90*. Torx bit on a 3/8" or 1/4" ratchet. It is tight down there.
