If it's while braking the rotors would be a good place to start.
If the tires are old, worn tires can do all sorts of funny things.
If not while braking it could be any number of the suspension/steering parts. I'd look at the lower control arms and tie rods first. Obviously this needs to be taken care of soon due to the potential danger of losing control.
A quick test is to jack the vehicle up so the tire if off the ground. Wiggle it with your hands at 12 and 6 o'clock and then at 3 and 9 o'clock.
Movement at 12 and 6 is usually ball joint related.
Movement at 3 and 9 is usually tie rod related.

CV joint/Axles
I jacked it up and took off the tires and found my issue I believe. Both boots at the hubs were torn or open and the grease had slung all up in the wheel wells. Worst part of it all is the price to repair. I couldn't find the replacement axles anywhere, due to the VIN and the small window of platform that my car was manufactured in. I called everyone I found online and suggestions from my mechanic. Parts were $1,649.01. That really hurt the wallet, but I reckon safety has not price..Right? ha ha
Thanks for the help.

If you remember, post a followup to verify that fixed things. Might help someone else in the future.
