Default XC90 Windshield Washer Spray Problem

Hi all,

I have a 2008 XC90 with a hole in the joint of the house windshield washer hose under the hood, seen in the picture below. It looks like it's missing a cap or something. When activated, the fluid sprays out of that hole, leaving nothing to reach the windshield nozzles. Any idea if this is a replaceable part? If so, where I can purchase a new one?

Thanks much!

Yep, happens all the time. About $12 at a dealer. You can use a regular vacuum tee but it won't keep fluid in the lines when not in use.

yeah like the other post said it is just a tee with w/ a check valve built in which keeps fluid in the lines (so the spray happens faster than if it drained back and had to make its way up from the pump).

happened to me as well, bought a WD Express 896 T check valve off ebay for $6 and change. Easy replacement, takes a minute or two

link to similar product on ebay
