Hello everyone!

Looking for a Volvo mechanic for my 1979 244DL in San Diego.

Lived here 4 years and been through about 3 and they all claim they know what they are doing but can't solve my issues or they solve/fix one and when I get the car back they mess something else up in the process and have to go back in.

Can anyone please help me with a mechanic who truly knows the 1970-80's 240 cars and doesn't need a computer to tell them what to do but can use their eyes and ears and memory like the good old days?

I am desperate to get some things solved with this beauty. Got this car when I was 16. The car was born in 1979 and I was born in 1980. We got some good history together... Oregon to Washington to Hawaii to San Diego!

good news is that that generation of car doesn't offer a computer interface :-) Perhaps you can post up the nature of your issues to the model specific board for Volvo 240/740/940s and some of your peers can help share their insights.
