[hr]who makes a descent body kit for the 850s?

 

I will be honest, no one.

*Erebuni used to make a kit for the 850's, but it has been discontinued. However you can still find them floating around on the web. Try Ebay you might get lucky.

*You could buy the 850R front bumper and try to find a CF lip that was made but again is discontinued. If you find one buy it. Or install the SAM splitters, if you can't find the lip.

*You could try importing like European kits for big big big bucks, but in the end it wont be worth it.

 

Actually there is a Japanese body kit, however it would be pretty exspensive and very exspensive to import it. It is made though by VST if your interested in it. Seen below.



They also have a CF lip, again exspensive and exspensive to import.

I was talking about a U.S. CF lip that was made, but isn't anymore.

Here is a few sites I found that sell them not sure if they are in the U.S. or not but browse through them.

 

Japanese Volvo tuner Erst and German tuner Heico makes a front air dam and rear wing. If you checkout Viva Volvo there's also the "R" front air dam.

 

1. HEICO doesn't make anything for the 850's. Those front spoiler flaps you see in the 850/s70/v70 section are made only for the 1998-2000 model 70 series Volvo's. I have them on my s70 currently.

2. I looked at the ERST website and truly I cannot tell they did anything with the front bumper on that 850. It just looks like the stock 850R front bumper. I might be wrong.

Thank you though for pointing out ERST as this is a brand new Volvo company that I and I am sure many others have never heard of.

 

I lied well not really. There are body kits out there for the 850. However they are all located in Europe or Japan. And the import cost would make it so that it wouldn't be worth it. However here you go...

stock or a stock R bumper is the best. Painting the exposed plastic to match looks good too.

My R already had the bumper I like.
The white one I bought the R bumper and had it painted then installed it.
See pic below.Took a while to find the OEM foglights though.

 

How about the Heico front lips ?
Been looking for them

 

Body kit's rarely ever look good, and especially on a 850.
