Hello,

I am curious if anyone has any expierence powder coating stock S60 R Rims? A Friend of mine has the gun and an oven to do it but in discussing the matter, the question came up can the paint on the stock rim handle the baking process after the powder is sprayed on or is it going to peel up with the 400 degree heat requiered?

Good question. I think some people over on VS have done them to their PEGS and or other rims.

 

Hey all,

So after much prep work I finally powder coated my rims on friday! They turned out great! Even though they are not the exact color I was planning on, I still love the way they look on the car!!!!!!!!!!

I'll post pics of them on the car tomorrow!!!

They look decent.

 

Looks like a stealth machine....the sort of car MIB's would drive.

 

They turned out a little darker than I had planned on but I am still happy with them!
