I just leased a 2005 s40. I wanted a spoiler on it, but they didn't have one with that available. So it will have to be something that I pay for seperately at a later time at Volvo. When I priced the trunk spoiler a month ago at Volvo, it said it was 299 installed(which I think is pretty expensive for something so small). Now the dealer is telling me that it is 350 for it, and that the 299 may have been for the previous model's spoiler.

What do you guys suggest? Is this the going rate for the spoiler in american dollars? Is there actually two different models of it one being 299 and the other being 349?

 

I know the price of the spoiler is pretty expensive.
It pays like 1.0 to 1.5 to install.
They need to mock up and drill the holes to install.

 

$299 is the current price for the spoiler option on the S40s in my town. I know it's steep, all options of that kind are extremely pricey. In the end, i think it's worth it. The job is done well and it looks better than those Fast and Furious things.

 

thats not bad..my dad works next to a body shop and i was going to get a factory wing on my nonner, and they wanted 700 bucks for a factory unpainted wing...[:@]
