Window Tints
I have looked up the other posts on the site and have a few more questions please excuse my lack of knowledge. I do like the level that S70 Driver has but think that it will be a problem with the local PD. Is there a difference in price depending on the darkness or would it be the same, also I know a wagon would be a little more but by how much?Thank you

RE: Window Tints
Just for people that don't know I have 35% front and 15% rear tint on my sedan.
Look up the tint laws in your area before you go tinting. Also if you know cops come down hard on people with tint do the legal limit or non at all. And if your area doesn't truly care go a little darker.
I don't know if there is a difference in price, but I would assume so.
As far as a wagon price I bet it could be $50+ more then a sedan.
I paid less then $200 for my tint job. I love it.

RE: Window Tints
Howdy,
I'm Tim I own a Window Tinting business and have tinted out my wagon like crazy. Please dont base your decision on price, go out and talk to the installers and look at their work. Check it all out, I always have cars on the lot that are freshly tinted and tell anyone to check em out. Also make sure you know what their policies on defects etc is. Many shops say "lifetime" but itsthrough them and they are just betting on 99% of folks selling their car before the tint goes purple or fails. A manufacturer's warranty card should be present if its a true quality film, dark doesnt reject the most heat. Its the quality of the film, ceramics, metallics, hybrid, dyed etc... I will see if I know any good shops in your area, www.tintdude.com is a great resource for consumers and installers. Its my second home.
Hope I helped a lil, if you have any questions gimme a shout.
My wagon is rockin' 3% on the rear section 35% on the front roll ups and 50% on the windshield. I just tinted the tail lamps with a film specifically for lights. They look 100x better than before.

RE: Window Tints
Sorry I have not looked at this post in a while as S70driver to me was a reliable source but I agree with TGTINT I would rather pay more for a quality job as I would rather have no tint then that rediculous purple looking stuff. I live in Connecticut where the police have nothing better to do then prevent menial crimes such as to darktint. I wasn't thinking of going extremly dark but the places I have gone to are shady so I actually have not done it yet if you do know a place I would like to know, but I will have to put it off for a little while once again due to a recent radiator failure.
