My 2nd Volvo. 1st one was a 1979 262 C Bertone that I bought for $1000 put a cam in and sold it 3 months later to a lady from NYC for 2 grand. (Little did I know then what a bertone was).
This one I bought at an auction yard in Washington DC.
And I love my car. So yes, Volvo4 Life!!!
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
None, however religiously change oils at recommended times. (Engine and Transmission)
Timing Belt/Water Pump and Idler pulley changed when first bought car in 2009. Will be ready for next change in aprox 18,000 miles.
Did new brakes all around in June 2010.
And new set of tires "Yokahama YK580" in March 2010.
A Barometric Pressure Sensor was replaced at 199122 miles due to a P0108 code (Sesi in Ann Arbor ordered me the wrong part, then finally got correct part).
Suspension Modifications:
None. Came with bill-stein struts so I assume all Volvo's that year did.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Set of Yokohama all weather tires run on the car. The Bridge-stones were only summer tires.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Audio system is a Sony CD/MP3/WMA head unit. GPS by Magelan. That's pretty much it.
