Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Gold 244, Good Shape, local Volvo mechanic recognized the car from working on it in the 90's... say it's originally from a Portland Volvo dealer because of the black painted strip under the side windows on both sides.
Mechanic pronounced the car tight and well-cared for, but does need a few things...imagine that.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Fuel Relay Pump replaced.
Suspension Modifications:
Front lower control arm bushings, rear position replaced
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Rear Brakes redone
It came with really ugly wheel covers on the standard steel wheels. I painted the wheels gloss black and replaced lug nuts with longer, chrome nuts... that'll do for awhile.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Taillights rewired and new relays and PC Boards.
Headlamps replaced with German made, sealed glass lamps!
Future Modifications:
It is my goal to do a total restoration!
Total engine inspection etc.
New ZF Rack and Power Steering Pump
Investigate Engine Knock
Front brakes - soonish
Right motor mount to be replaced
new windscreen
anti sway kit
new shocks and springs
performance exhaust
Wheels, Tires,
Repaint
Driver and Passenger side seats need new seat and back cushions and mechanical adjustments repaired
the list goes on...
