Does anybody know a way to connect an MP3player to the Volvo Dolby prologic II radio unit ? In my previous V70 I was using a stupid Philips radio with Aux in. I can't imagine there is no way to connect an external MP3 player..Is there still somebody out there using CD's ?

Check with volvo or search volvo+mp3+player on google. You may have to remove stereo components so be careful.

You'll probably have to get a FM modulator for your MP3 player or completely replace the whole audio system. The XC90 uses a fiber optic netork audio system with components all over the car. The antenna and tuner are in the roof, CD player in the dash and controls/dispay in the dash. There is no "audio head unit" as you see in many other vehicles.

An FM modulator is what I am using for my xm radio which is the same as would be used for MP3 players and it is poor at best. If you find one that is great, let us know
