Hey all,
I have been searching all over this site and finally figured that the SCREECHING/GRINDING/SQUEALING sound that I am getting from my 2006 V50 2.4 is a bad wheel hub bearing. The sound is intermittent but extremely loud. Brakes are fine, not a scratch on the rotors and the pads are still in decent shape.
How do I figure out which wheel is causing the issue? At $315 each assembly here at the "stealer" in Calgary, I don't want to go replacing them for nothing.
Also, it sounds like it is a relatively simple job for a DIY with some tools and skills.
Any help would be GREAT.
Thanks.
Brian
