Default Hydraulic trunk assist problem

Shut the trunk the other day on something that evidently jammed up the right hydraulic arm thing and when the trunk approached closing level I heard a rush of air/fluid (there was some brownish wet stuff at the arm). Now the trunk is dead weight and won't stay up.

Anyone know how I deal with this and specifically where to get a used part? Get a new arm? I am using a prop in the meantime.

Thanks!

You should replace both the trunk shocks. If you have a PEP Boys in your area they arent that bad for then new there. You should buy new if you buy used they might go out in a week.
