Hi folks,
Newbie here - I'm thinking of buying a 1998 V70 2.0l 10v which has done 189k miles. The current owner has had it 5 years and says it's been regularly serviced by a local garage. He can't, however, find anything in the records that mentions a cam belt change. So, my question to all you knowledgeable folks out there, when should the belt have been changed? Roughly how much would this job cost? And finally, would this be a good buy at £750, average condition?
Thanks in advance, Ian.
