Default Idle Viveration

I have a 2000 V40 with 135000 on it the car has a noticeable vibration at idle and has had it for some time now and seems to be getting slowly worse.
My mechanic checked it out visually put the car in drive and reverse with the break on and he jacked the motor up a bit. He didn't think any of the motor mounts were broken from what he could tell from his brief look see.
He thinks the motor mounts rubber may have become hard and this could be causing the vibration any one here have any experience with this model having vibration issues wile at idle at a stop lite.
Thanks Mike

With your description the right motor mount (mounts on in the timing cover area) is pretty common.
