Before i had a topic about renovation of a TRW steering rack from a 940 / 945. i put the project on the side for 4 years.
Anyway, now i am back at it.
The seals, i saw this picture a good person send me on this forum, but i thought to myself... should the seals position A not be turn around? so that the small diameter of the seal point outward like in B? the oil lip should be on the inner side where the pressure is?
Looking at the factory line drawings its hard to see.
Best wishes, Tvolvo

I will likely be doing the same rebuild with my TRW rack.93 945. Then I could show you what the seals look like as soon as I pull them out. I ordered a CAM style seal kit since I saw CAM and TRW listed as compatible racks but unsure if the seal kit is as well. If you happen to know, please let me know. I the meantime, I'm awaiting the parts And should have mine apart in the next week, I post some photos.
