Low pressure turbo question
Ok i just purchased a 2002 S60 2.4t AWD. And damn i love this car. I was thinking about putting this on the car http://www.eurosporttuning.ca/Mercha...S60-en-kit-24t
but i'm not sure how well this will work.
If you think about it logically the low pressure turbo works on the low rpm spectrum vs. the high rpm spectrum with high pressure turbo's. I had no idea they even made low pressure turbo's but i love it.
So my question is if i have a low pressure turbo and i put this stuff on it will it help that much vs. how much this costs?
I would think this would work better with the 2.5t or high pressure turbo but i'm not sure.
Any ideas would be helpful.

RE: Low pressure turbo question
You will see the most gains through the BSR PPC followed by the catback exhaust system then the intake.
LPT and HPT Volvo's can benefit from an ECU upgrade in this case through the BSR PPC. Also they can both benefit from a bigger mandrel bent exhaust system as well. The intake well that would mainly be for under the hood looks and sound. You wont see many gains from the intake. I have that intake for my s70, I love it. I got it as a present.
Most gains
1. ECU upgrade
2. 3" mandrel bent downpipe
3. 2.5" mandrel bent catback system with a free flowing CAT and muffler such as a BORLA or Magnaflow. If you plain to put a bigger turbo in your LPT then a 3" mandrel bent catback system would benefit you more.
4. Intake. The stock intake is by far the best setup available if you believe it or not.
I put those items in order of most power gains to least power gains. Would it be worth while for you to get this package. That is all up to you. It is a nice package, over priced but a nice package. If I was doing this I would go with the one with the downpipe as well. Seeing as how you will gain more from the downpipe then you would the catback system.
