No reply on this? I have a 2003 S60 as well, with exact same problem and it's bothering me. Very interested in getting it repaired, as I've recently noticed slight water sprays on inside of windshield after going through automatic car wash. Did you ever find a solution? Or maybe I should start a new feed since this was dated 3 years ago.

I have a similar issue with my 02 s60. It isn't in dyer need. But I plan on starting by taking it to one of the local independent auto glass installers.
I have no idea as to how you would install the rubber yourself if you got it. But I would check a European Auto Parts store or call them up to ask what they can do for you. As I believe you have alluded to I have never seen and kits advertised online.

you can buy new ones from a dealer or on line, but it will be about 300-400 bucks, color match.
or if you are lucky enough to find someone parting out s60 with some good ones, maybe about 100bucks.
150bucks to paint.
I have not had any luck finding any good used ones on line, I will give it till spring and then I will buy some color matching ones for 300 each.

The rubber part of the molding is not sold separately, it is part of the trim piece.
What we have done is to remove the trim piece and pull out the rotted rubber. Then, install new clips (Volvo part 30678009), I believe six of them. You'll probably break the clips when you remove the molding to pull off the rotted rubber.
