Default Windshield trim flapping in the wind ...

I have the S60 and recently started to have a lot of problems with the two strips that run from the base of the windshield to the trunk.

There are blue clips that are attached to the car but I cannot figure out how to get the trim clipped back on.

I understand that at some point before I owned the car the windshield was replaced. Not sure if this has anything to do with this issue.

Guidance is welcome!

You better tape those things down - they are called drip edge trim and they are $200 each (installed) - clips sold separately for $12+/-. If they blow off its gonna be a lot more expensive they having someone repair.

If you lose one however there is a '01 black one on I95 you can have.

Try a body shop to get it fixed. I think mine were previously glued so it may be a poorly designed part.

Good luck

You are right just had to replace one of these it was loose and flew off driving down the Eway .At some point in the past my windshield was replaced and they broke the small clips that hold these on.If you go to a local Auto body shop they can get u new clips they are a few bucks each but better than the $200 the strip cost.I wonder how many of these are sitting on the side of the road.
