Default Fuse Help

My cigarette lighter stopped working and i assume this is because of a blown fuse. I looked through the online manual, but couldn't locate the fuse that would control this.

Any help would be appreciated with this.

Thanks.

The one facing the backseats hasn't worked for the 1+ year that I've owned the car.

The fuse number is 11C/30. It's a 15amp fuse. I remember blowing out the one I had. Check the manual to see exactly where it is. It'll probably be turquoise in color.

For the fuse you replace it with, I've really gotten to love the Smart Glow fuses. That way you'll never have to look at your manual again! When they go out, all you have to do is replace the glowing one

They look like this

Default Cigarette lighter fuse location

I too have had to track down the elusive "cigarette lighter" fuse (guess it's non-PC to mention cigarettes anymore).

On my 2007 S80 it is located under the hood on the second level of the fuse box. Listed as Fuse#25, 15amp. See attached photo.

Looking around the web, it seems the common thread for this fuse blowing is pulling out a device from one of the lighter sockets (phone charger, DVD player, radar detector etc.) while the ignition is ON. If the car is off it doesn't blow when removing devices. This problem seems to span all sorts of Volvo years, makes and models.

In S70/V70 models it's actually a 20 amp fuse, slot number 30 located in the upper fuse box under the hood. I just changed one on my 2000 S70.

Hey all on 2006 S80's it's the 15a (blue) next to the 10a (red) UNDER the dash right above the foot pedals, it's 2x 25 torx, hope this helps!
