Fuse blows with no H.I.D Kit, up the Fuse???
I jsut had a World Imports 8000K H.I.D. kit installed. Good kit, no error messages, but the low beam fuse in the engine compartment keeps blowing after about 15 minutes of use.By default, its a 15 Amp fuse. I know the kits is supposed to draw the same power, so I shouldnt have the fuse. I was thinking about changing the fuse to 20 Amps. There are some more fuses in the car for low beam (10 Amps each light), but I dont think I will touch those.
What do you guys think?

i would not up the fuse. how many watts is the kit rated at?
i have 55watt HID kit and it's supposed to be less power. blowing 15amp fuses sounds wrong. is it both L&R fuses or only one side?

Well the one that blows is the one in the engine compartment. Thats for both low beams and it is rated at 15 Amps. Then it breaks down to two seperate fuses by the driver door fuse box, one for left, one for right.
Its a regular 35W low beam H7 kit

How were they connected by the headlights?
Maybe unplug one and see if the fues blows to try to figure out which side may be doing it or if both are unplugged then it may be before the lights.
