Volvo v40 egr valve

Hi!
Does any body knows where the egr valve is located on a volvo v40?
If you can direct me to a site that shows the picture, THAT will be most appreciated!

What year is your car? Are you sure it has an EGR?

Hi! The year of the v40 is 2002.
I don't know if it have an egr valve, but it is a california car.

Volvo v40 2002 egr valve

Hi!
I don't know if the v40 has an egr valve, but it is a california car.
So it should have on, or some thing else!

If it does not have and egr valve, what does it have?

better yet, how do i fix a "check engine" light?

i was planing to clean the egr valve to fix the "check engine" light.
