Question 2005 XC90 2.5T Leaky Condenser Coil

2005 xc90 2.5T Leaky Condenser Coil.
I have found a leak where a backet attaches to the air conditioning condensor unit, the top passanger side of the unit.
It appears to be a straight foreward, reasonbly doable job removing the condensor coil.
My questions are:
1) Can I take the unit out and have someone weld a fillit around the bracket to stop the leak? and save money. How do I find a shop that welds aluminum?
2) After I reconnect the unit, can I take it in to have it flushed, dried, and recharged? Do I have to purchase the oil and sealant?
3) Is there anything important I'm missing here?

1. Evacuate R134a at local shop.

2. Replace the Condenser (don't fix it, it is not serviceable item). Check rmeuropean dot com for prices. Nissens is a good brand.

3. Install new condenser. Then charge with R134a.

thank you, knowing to order a new condenser rather than repair the coil is very helpful. Just seems like a waste for a little crack.
Pardon my question, but why do I have to go to a shop and evacuacte the system before I replace the coil?
thank you for your help.
