2012 V60 ABS Reluctor Ring Replacement.
Hi guys,
i drove over a rough bit of road about a month ago, no potholes but enough of an uneven surface to give the left wheels a good vibrating. immediately after going over that patch i got an ABS/traction control fault flash up on the dash which has stuck around since. . . doing a bit of research i suspect the ABS reluctor ring has cracked and needs replacing.
Rather than take the car to the dealership for a £120+ code reading, i'd like to check and fix the problem myself.
I took the nearside wheel off to have a look but the wheel hub/knuckle looks difficult to work with in comparison to the older S60s.
There's no youtube videos from what i've seen and all guides/tips are of older models.
Does anybody have a similar year V/S60 and have you had the wheel assembly off far enough to get access to the driveshaft.
I have a few pics of the arrangement, one of which should hopefully appear with this post. (Sorry i'm a newb)
Any help would be grand
Cheers,
Colonel.

Hi my name is grant and I’m new to the forum myself.
looking at you pic, undo the shaft hub nut, then you will need to dismantle the lower ball joint steering and rack joint and you will be able to tap the shaft out of the hub to access the ring.
hope that helps
maybe you can help solve my problem on my post now lol haha
