Default 1998 V70XC no heat

Good morning guys,
I have a coworker with a 1998 V70XC in great shape other than the fact the heat is not working at all. The heater core was recently replaced by a non-Volvo shop and the heat worked for a short while and now it only blows cold air through the vents, and the orange lights blink upon startup. I have searched for a solution to this to no avail.

The AirMix **** is closed, and the engine temperature gauge is normal. Is there anything I can do to temporarly get her heat until the issue is properly rectified (I.e a module reset)? I have tried every combination of air volume/distribution/air temp settings and it only blows cold. Setting to the recommended 72 with fan and distribution **** on AUT also has no effect.

Thanks!

Same issue with my v70 except the temp guage would take a LONG time to reach 'normal' operating temps. Turned out to be a Bad Thermostat. Replaced, now I have nice Hot air. Only my 2 Cents.
