Hello everyone, first time here. Just picked up a 99 V70 with 28k miles. Am working on installing the 3rd row seat which I just picked up from ebay. What do parts do I need to modify the back hatch so it can be opened from the inside? Where can I find these parts? Any help will be appreciated.

Also, what can I cover the tire with so the kids don't step all over it. Thought there was a carpet cover but not sure what to look for in regards to part name on e-bay or oem lists.

The rear hatch should already have an interior release, with or without the 3rd row seat. What's your location? There's numerous wrecking yards in the Seattle-area with donor V70/850 wagons. I think you're looking for pc #23, 9132840. If so, looks like about $100 if still available at the dealer.

 

36 is a piece of plywood spray painted black. That is what gives it the "floor-boardy" feel, ha ha. If you can't find that, you can make your own. 23 is a molded piece of carpet.

It really does not work all that well and isn't all that fancy or sophisticated in the way it fits. So I just mention that because it's only just a little bit better than a board and a scrap of carpet is going to be. Or maybe a welcome mat from wal-mart.
