'99 V70 Vehicle Speed Sensor
In second gear on startup, only goes to third gear (so I'm only using two of four gears all together). Mechanic I took it to said it is either the vehicle speed sensor or the transmission has gone out on me. I do not think its the transmission because when I initially started having this problem I saw an ABS light and the speedometer dropped to zero momentarily, followed by an intermittent O/D light. Please help. I don't want to trash this car.
