Hello All!

A question: I'm considering purchasing a 1999 V70XC with 129k. It currently has the flashing up arrow which points to the PNP switch as being unhappy. The question: Can I drive the car like this without damaging anything, especially the transmission? I have about 100 miles to get it home 25% city and 75% highway. The plan would be to replace the PNP switch ASAP once home.

I realize it's an old thread, but does anyone have input on this?

Going to look at one today with the "flashing arrow" and some potential transmission issues.
