Check Valve in Fuel Line?
Hey Gents -
So my 99 V70 runs fantastic, and all is well. No codes, no nothing.
The ONE glitch is that it typically takes a LONG time of cranking before the engine starts. All the research I've done tells me that it's very typical of this car for the check valve - in the fuel pump - to not seat completely, and let the gas drain back into the tank.
The fuel pump works fine, and I really don't want to replace it, so...
Is it possible to put a small in-line check valve in the fuel line somewhere? I'm thinking immediately behind or in front of the fuel filter. Do any of you know why I couldn't do this? And do any of you know the diameter of the fuel line?
THANK YOU!
