Ha! found the problem! Seem the tensioner was not holding during rotation, while I was under the car cranking on it the tensioner was kinda "bouncing" Had someone watch while I was cranking from the bottom and sure enough that was it! replaced the tensioner and all seems good!
Also found that who ever work on this prior to us buying not only put the gears on wrong the actually switch them, I have put them back, lined the cams up from the factory marks at rear of cams installed a tensioner and getting ready to fire it up! Hope maybe this helps someone else along the way...
