Default Help with the Turbo (maybe)

I'm going to start this post by saying i'm not mechanically inclined, so forgive me. I purchased a 1998 Volvo V70 a few years ago. It has recently been blowing bluish/white exhaust and after doing some research online (after the family mechanic i've been using for years replaced the valve seal and o rings thinking that was the problem), it seems like it may be something with the turbo. I'm not 100% positive on that, but i'm a single parent of 2 working 2 jobs and i can't afford to keep taking it to the mechanic to "guess", let alone afford what it appears a new turbo for this car would cost.

So my question is, does anyone know a parts place/dealer where i could get a good deal on one? I'm not trying to be a charity case, just explaining my situation and hoping to find a little help. This is my only mode of transportation and i'm just trying to keep it running for as long as i can, for as cost effective as i can until maybe some good luck comes my way.

Thanks in advance for any info you may supply.

Stop taking it to a "guessing" mechanic. Find a good independent shop to get the correct diagnosis. There is a big difference in possible causes for blueish and white exhaust smoke.
