Looking for a roof rack to fit 2000 V70 ("naked roof") to transport 2 kayaks. Trying to avoid the expensive setups. Anyone have any experience w/ the so called "Universal-fit" racks?

Alternatively, anyone have a cheap (~$200) do-it-yourself or used rack?

Check Craigslist, garage sales, and junk yards to get a Volvo (Thule) rack.
