I am looking at a 1998 XC70 that has some issues, most of which I can deal with. The odd one is that the engine runs, but there is one dead cylinder. Any ideas what could cause that? I have an 850, and from what I understand these 5 cylinder motors are pretty bullet proof. The car is dirt cheap, the owners want it gone so I may grab it. Any help would be appreciated.
