2000 xc n lovin it!
Hello everybody. I bought a 2000 xc 2.4 turbo a year ago, specifically for winter driving. She performed like a champ throughout a very long and extremly harsh Minnesota winter without a problem, but recently it's started loosing coolant. The car is running fine, no change in the oil level or discoloration. I changed the thermostat filled the resevior with coolant and drove it about 20 min and the radiator light came on. When I stopped and refilled the resevior it drained and then started boiling back up through the bottom of thr resevior. I'm hoping someone here might have some advice, I really like this car and want to treat her right.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I apologize that I did not see your post sooner. Hopefully you have already figured this out.
Check the heater core for leaks. It usually leaks under the drivers side carpet. Then check the water pump.
Also, you should NEVER remove the reservoir cap when the motor is hot.
