For the EML light - you may have a problem with your throttle module. The 99-01 Magnetti mareilli (sp) throttles are known for failure. xemodex has some diagnostic help

https://xemodex.com/us/knowledgebase...c70-1999-2000/

For the SRS warning - You're in GB - if your 2000 is a P2 car - that could be a problem in the DIM (the instrument cluster) or if the engine runs normally both could be DIM problem.

First step would be to scan the car with an appropriate scan tool to get an idea of what the car thinks is wrong with itself.

Hi thanks for replying i have had the codes read SRS is is now off air bag in O/S upper piller fault code high voltage or something anyway bad connection .
The other faults are
canister purge (c/p) valve signal
turbocharger( t/c) control valve signal
boost pressure sensor
brake pedal sensor
Now could all 4 of these be the cause of my EML being on or is there more than likely that only 1 is the problem linking them together
I know how to check the brake pedal sensor could this be the problem causing my cruise control not to work but as for the others i am not 100% sure of the location or how to test them if it is at all possible
Also on my brake servo i have the pedal sensor on the left towards the rear and on the right the is another sensor but no wires with a plug on any where any ideas thanks again

Sorry I forgot that in GB you have an Engine Management light - here in the US that's our check engine light. And any of those codes could be turning it on - Erase them and see what comes back first - As far as location and how to test - The free stolen/ hacked copy of VIDA, Volvo's service manual that is available many places, (there's a download on swedespeed) has diagrams and test procedures.

best to post up all the codes that reset. Codes are just giving clues not answers so when you get a happy meal of codes, its quite possible there's a common cause. For example, low system voltage can set false positives or an intake or exhaust leak can show as a O2 sensor or others.
