My 2005 xc70 has a small cubbyhole to the left of the radio; inside are an attached audio jack as well as a toggle switch.
Can anyone tell me what the switch function is? The cubby isn't listed in my manual.

The cubby is for anything you want to put in it.

The switch and audio jack are not factory.

 

Have you tried plugging your phone/ipod into that to see if it's an aftermarket aux input?
