Default New to XC70. Please help!!

I just Bought a 1998 V70XC today. Fuel Pump is making an awful noise. I know I need to change fuel pump. My questions are:

1 does anyone know if the fuel pump can be accessed from the cabin like the 740 wagons? I read on one link that said yes.

2 hearing a sound from front right side. not quite clicking like a cv joint but somewhat noticeable.

Also, Anything as far as known problems with these?? While this is my 10th volvo it is my first V70XC.

Thanks.

Also, TRACS and ABS lights come on for about 20 minutes and then turn off. will OBD2 be able to find these codes?

Yes the fuel pump can be accessed from the rear compartment. You will need a specialty scanner to access the ABS codes.
