Volvo XC70 2000, Fuel rail shooting gas out on Startup.
Hi,
I have a 2000 Volvo XC V70. I rebuilt the head gasket and have everything put back together. However. I started the car, and it ran, for a couple minutes, then the fuel line going into the fuel rail came detached and sprayed gas everywhere. it will no longer hold pressure meaning when I go to start the car it will run, then it will explode gas everywhere. Do you guys that I need a new fuel rail? It is also important to mention my main fuel rail was leaking, so I cut off the rubber and installed a new portion of fuel line, and clamped it with hose clamps.
