Default '06 V70 2.5T Halogen Passenger side low beam failure

I have read through a lot of post here and still need answers. I have halogen lights and the passenger side low beam will not work. I have replaced the bulb and I know the bulb is good but still does not work.

I know there is a TSB on this issue. Can anyone here shed some light on this issue. The drivers side works fine and the high beam on both sides work fine.

One mechanic told me the whole assembly needed to be replaced, but at 200 bucks for an assembly when the problem can be fixed much cheaper is the way to go.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you checked for power to the bulb socket? Ground for it?

The one mechanic that told you did they actually check things out or are they just guessing with your money?
