I have 08 v70 have issue with ac cabin fan not coming on when it gets hot outside. has been working fine until outside temperature climbed to around 90. when I try to turn on the ac I can hear the compressor come on but cabin fan will not come on. a couple times I slammed the glove box and it immediately came on and worked fine until I parked the car and came back a couple hours later only to have the blower not come on. in the mornings and evenings works fine but in the sweltering Houston afternoon heat the blower refuses to turn on. some times after driving for about 5 to 10 minutes it will all of a sudden come on a bless us with ac. last year around September both the fan and the compressor wouldn't come on. we changed the resistor and it has been working fine till It started to heat up outside. I am stumped has anyone had this issue.

I had a (since traded) '09 V70 with a similar problem - blower was weak and intermittent. That was one of the reasons it is no longer in my driveway.
