2001 V70 Position Light?
Just bought a used 2001 V70 wagon. On the "message center" there a message that tells me that I have a position light bulb failure.
Being the astute person that I am, I figured out that a position light is most likely a parking light (and the internet seems to back up that belief) so I checked my parking light and all four are working fine.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

After reading a bit about lights and such and people saying that it could be corrosion, etc. I decided to just replace all the bulbs. Boy was that fun.
I headed to Pep Boys and used their little computer to buy all the bulbs that I could possibly need.
A serious masochist designed the lighting and its sockets. My hands don't fit into most of these places.
I'm done, or so I think but I still have a package of two small bulbs. So I'm pondering the diagram on the back of the owner's manual and realize that I didn't find all the sockets. Pull it out and sure 'nuff, it is the small bulb and it is burned out. Also burned out on the other side.
The interesting thing is that since the back of the car has about an acre of red plastic, I didn't realize that those two lights weren't lit. The same must have been true for the state inspector because he passed it and checked off that all lights function.
While changing the right front parking light, I managed to dislodge the hose for the right headlight washer and I cannot figure out where it goes.
So the good news is that I no longer have a warning message about a light but I do have a hose adrift.
