I have a 2003 v70 non-turbo. I purchased used, it now has 141,000 miles but is in great shape. Recently it has been going crazy on me, the ABS light comes on then the traction control light, and or check engine light comes on then the air conditioning quits. and then the gauges will do one of two things, quit all together or the high temp light will come on and gauge will show all the way over to hot side. I can take the battery terminal off wait a minute then re-attach, this normally fixes problem for a while. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

 

I had this once on my car when the battery was weak.
Try to test with a fresh battery.

Success!

 

Somthing the same happened to me a few months back. Turned out it was the voltage regulator on the alternator that was shot. While I was at it I replaced the alternator as well.
