2004 VOLVO V70 2.5T weird steering issues
Just to preface: have little to no upper motor mount, recently flushed power steering system with correct fluid(pentosin or something like that), rightmost seal of rack and pinion is leaking.
When turning it feels like it turns extra sometimes. Other times not. I've posted everywhere about this and no one knows for sure. I can't afford to take it to a shop because I just spent 900 to get it to this point.
I've heard lower steering shaft u-joint being worn, or inner or outer tie rods being worn. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Limited funds will impede you for sure.
I don't know if AT-205 seal sealer is OK to use in a steering system. It is, however, a time honored product.
Another possibility is finding a younger leak free rack at a junkyard?
Have someone turn the steering wheel SLIGHTLY as you watch each tie rod end in turn. Any play you see is bad.
Having no upper engine mount could add a wobbliness to anything you're feeling.

I'm curious about the sealer, but I am hesitant since these power steering systems are picky with their fluid.
I did jack it up yesterday and wobbled the wheel and it hard just a tiny bit of play from left to right, but not too much. If that means anything.
My biggest concern about getting a junkyard rack is that I don't want to get it if it's gonna get leaky within a year or so. But I may have to deal with that gamble.
I also know that there are different types of racks that have different sensors and whatnot so I need to get just the right one.
