Default 2005 Volvo V70 R Wagon- want to use a cigarette lighter but......

I don't think it's a matter of plug and play based on my experience with my 2003 Mercedes E 320 Wagon- had to buy a new lighter "socket" as well as the lighter itself ($65.00 from Mercedes Dealer). Before I venture into this silly project, can someone give me a few pointers? In other words, is there a Volvo OEM lighter that will work with my existing lighter "socket "?, or do I need to buy a "kit " containing both components ? Would prefer to keep it OEM , but if it's going to cost another $65.00 or so, I might be persuaded to go aftermarket. Thanks in Advance!!

Have you tried calling your local Volvo dealer? A quick look at Tasca parts.com shows a lighter element available.
