Default 2006 V70 - too many error codes

Hello all!

I am the proud owner of a V70 D5 for some time now and lately i have been having some doubts/problems. Some are not important but now i am a bit worried about the situation.

I have the feeling that the engine is not with same power as before and also am worried i may have some important issue going on. I would like to ask your opinion regarding the following.

Today i did that simple ecm test using read plus fog light twice and cycled on the options and got:

ECM, CEM, CCM, PDM, REM and RTI erros present. I dont know how to get the exact code but also i think this is maybe too much present errors for beeing normal (or not - maybe i am really unlucky...). Is there some way to know the detailed error code without going to pay a lot of cash to volvo dealer? Also you think is normal to have so many modules reporting error?
I suspect i may have some electrical issue with the car but not sure - the built in phone does not light up, i have been having several lamps dying and starter engine is not fast to start engine (but also not too long) - some times faster than others.
Also i think it is using more fuel than ususal.
Can someone give me some hints on this?

Thanks a lot!

Don't get too hung up on how many modules have codes if you have no warning lights or problems. The only one of those likely to matter is the ECM, but you'll need a scanner to check the codes. A generic scanner won't read the rest of those modules.

Thanks for the reply.

When you refer a scanner could i use galleto? If not the only option is to go to someone that has a scanner capable of doing a full diag.

Dam i miss the simplicity of my hondas and nissans to get ecu error codes

My car engine seems in good shape as it literally almost doesnt eat any oil, 20.000km after last change and only a little bit missing.

I will search for a place to read the codes and get back to you. Hope i dont have to change the ecm as i read too many horror stories about it.

I'm a dealer tech, I don't have any experience with aftermarket scanners.

If you're going 20,000 km between oil changes, I would stop that.

You don't need an ECM.

I also found strange that the guy that did last oil change wrote the next change fater 20k km... the oil used is Shell 0w30
How often should the engine oil change be? 10k, 15k?

Thanks a lot for the reply.

Consult your owner's manual. We do t have diesels here in the US. The gas version was every 7500 miles (12000 km) in 2006.
