Default All position lights out

Hi,
I've read through a lot of posts about the "bulb failure position light" message, but can't seem to find an answer to this situation. I have that message in my 2002 V70, and all of the position lights are not working: 4 in the rear and 2 side markers just forward of the front doors. All 4 rear bulbs test good (I haven't tested the front 2 yet), and fuses 30 and 31 in the interior front fuse panel test good.
Could this be a bad shunt? Seems like there are 2 shunts that might be involved. Should I just swap the shunts around to see if that helps? Are all 4 shunts the same?
I can't identify a relay that covers all of these bulbs. But maybe I'm missing something....
Thanks,
Lewis

Default no front parking lights

Well, this is strange. There are no front position lights on this car. There's a place right next to the low beams where they should be, but no bulbs, no socket, and no wiring harness. Doesn't look like there have ever been lights there, and I know for sure there haven't been in the three years that I've owned it, but the "bulb failure position light" message just came on.
I replaced both 1156 bulbs in the rear because there was one silver base and one brass base, but that didn't get rid of the message.
Any ideas?
