Got an issue on my 2.4d 2009
The heater seems to be only giving cool air so I checked normal things and noticed the bottom hose was very cool. So as a matter of coarse, I changed the thermostat and housing as I guess it is still original and noticed the top hose was empty.
After I changed the unit and went for a run, the top hose was still cool. The header tank was also still cold. I also noticed there was no water flow through the bleed hose to the header tank. No movement of water in the header tank whatsoever.
It is almost as if the impeller has fallen off the water pump.
Any ideas?
