I have a 2001 V70 T5 automatic with 133K miles on it. Currently it runs perfectly, but in reading about the ETM issue, I have concerns if I take it out of the local area on a trip. I was wondering if some of the high mileage owners would say how long their original ETM lasted (or is still working). I was also wondering how drivable is the car if the module does go out. Can it be driven a couple hundred miles to get home so I can fix it myself?

Or should I be thinking preventive maintenance and replace it now?

So who has the longest working ETM?
