I had my car nicked about two weeks ago, I have sent the insurance company all the required docs and incident form. They found the car burnt out a day later. Police were informated as soon as I realised car was gone. How long will the insurance companiy take to pay out?

 

Well, if you had full coverage which I guess you had, and this is not a spam message, they usually cover a rental and payout within 10 days.

 

In the US, unless an insurance company has "extenuating circumstances", it has 30 days to settle a claim. Rental coverage is policy specific.

 

30 days... and they have to give you a rental for 30 days unless you have "cut rate' insurance
