Anyone using a ipod on a 2002 V70? How did you tweak your radio to accept it? Anybody using this?

I looked at those and after some research I didn't go with that one. I did in the end go with this one by Grom Audio.

The great thing is that you can control the ipod directly thru the radio and it also has an option for bluetooth audio streaming and hands free calling which you can also fully control thru your radio. The whole setup was really easy to install and took me less than 30min to do it.

I used the USA Spec adapter, though if I were doing it again I might have spent the extra money for the IMIV adapter. The USA Spec works fine, but it does not provide display info like the IMIV and also requires a splice into the wiring, whereas the IMIV come with a method that does not require the splice. Some people claim that the IMIV unit sounds better, but for my ears the USA Spec sounds fine. I can't remember exactly how long the install took, but I am thinking it was in the 1-2 hour range, with most of the time related to getting the wire routing just right. I mounted the unit on top of the glovebox and brought the input wires out through a hole I drilled a hole in the back of the cubby to the left of the radio. It took me a couple of tries to get the hole and grommet size for bringing the wires out into the cubby correct.
